I am a hcpc (Health & Care Professions Council) registered Clinical Psychologist, an associate fellow of the British Psychological Society and an accredited Cognitive Analytic Therapist and supervisor. I worked in the NHS for 40 years including as the lead psychologist for the area covered by the Community Learning Disability Team in which I was employed.  I also worked in  In-patient Psychiatric Intensive Care. 

 

As a clinical psychologist I trained and work using a wide range of psychological therapies.  I attend regular continuing professional development events.  After qualifying, I chose to train in greater depth in Cognitive Analytic Therapy.

 

As a registered member of the Health & Care Professionals Council, as well as the British Psychological Society and the Association of Cognitive Analytic Therapy, I am bound by their ethical framework and professional procedures.  I have indemnity insurance and receive regular supervision from a highly experienced psychotherapist and supervisor.
